Hello everyone,

I have an odd question for you. I just bought my Smart Pure 2010 last month. I noticed doors need to be slammed to close properly unless a window or the rear hatch is open. Is this the same for all of you, or I have a clogged cabin pressure vent? If so, where is it located?

Thanks for your help!

Nick

My wife always has trouble closing the passenger door because of this so I’ve developed the habit of lowering my window an inch or so to relieve the pressure. Otherwise the latch mechanism on her door will wear out in half the time! 0:)

You might check the little square-D shaped loop on the door post that the door-latch closes over. If it has a lot of wear showing on the top or bottom of it, it may need adjusting up or down . Bly loosening the mounting screws , it can be moved up or down a little. Mine had a wear mark on the top showing that the door had dropped somewhat. (Not suprising, since the door is so large and it's 10 years old).
