I'm trying to find out how to clean the haze on the top of my smart sunroof its only towards the rear of the roof. I can scrape it off with my fingernail. I took it in for a detail but he said he couldn't buff it off. Is the sunroof glass or a plastic material. I'm afraid to use anything that will etch the surface but it looks awful. Like the haze you get on a metal car from age.

Nothing you can do but buy a new plastic sunroof. Made of plastic. 100's of post on this site about the issue.

If there's something on the roof you can scrape off yourself then maybe a good polishing will clean it up. The roof is Makrolon® polycarbonate, so make sure you use only cleaners suitable for that material.
