I just bought a 2016 smart car 453 passion that has been hit in the front end. Damage is minor as the items damaged are the front fascia and the hood. The two headlights had a couple of Brocken brackets, which I welded back on and am now starting to reassemble car. The passenger side headlight is the problem, when I turn on the lights the drivers side works just fine but the passenger side does not come on, I checked the bulb and it seems fine, checked what I think are the right fuses and they look fine. I check fuses 34,and 35 fuses and they seem fine,(although a challenge to get to fuses, not a great place to put a fuse block). Does any one have any ideas what could be the problem???

I had a bulb go out and while it seems to be ok it was actually blown.
Does the high beam kick on when the lights are on on the side the blown bulb is on?
If so then it is the bulb.
The headlights are separately fused.(each one has its own fuse)

Check the wiring harness, on the side, that won’t turn. That’s the first place, I’d look. Did you try switching the bulbs around.
