Hi all
I have a 2009 Pure and when I went to put the air conditioning on yesterday it made a horrendous grinding noise. I turned it off and completed my ride (an hour and a half away from home and 25 Celsius) with the windows down.
Today I pulled the heater motor out of the housing assembly and found that almost half of the vanes on the fan wheel were missing. I reached in the opening trying to find the pieces with no luck.
Does anyone know how else I can go about finding the broken pieces.
I don't want to replace the heater motor and have it get damaged by the missing pieces.

Just a thought but maybe try a vacuum cleaner with a real flexible hose? Slide the cabin filter out and see if they fell down in that area?

Maybe take off the hood, and then the scupper, that gives access to the intake for the system from what I have seen in Evilution's site.
