Added correct tire pressure yesterday and light didn't go out (drove over 10 miles) door jam says (factory OEM BRABUS Wheels) 26 up front and 36 in rear. Added exactly that. Must be a TPM sensor.

Grr...

When you correct the tire pressure you need to press TMPS button on the button bank with the ignition switch on. That resets the TMPS light. Hold it in for a few seconds and the light flashes then resets. Make sure you have the right pressure in your tire when you reset because its the variance of a few pounds from the reset point pressure that triggers the light. The button is the farthest to the right. DCO

The Curt hitch is fairly easy to install. It is sold by U-haul as well as online. Curt says their hitch does not fit a Brabus. Probably because the hitch would come out behind the center outlet exhaust creating a burn hazard to anyone touching the trailer hitch on the hitch ball. I have one that I do not use with a trailer, only with a bike rack that fits in the receiver. I have never had a problem, but am aware that it gets hot after a while. Around town here, it is not a problem. I bought mine from www.etrailer.com/curt/hitch
The instructions indicate you should drill up thru the top of the frame, enlarge the hole so the bolt and washer can drop down inside the frame from above. Jill Hobbs husband discovered that the frame is open at the front and the locating spring guide wires are long enough enough to feed in from the front opening of the frame so you do not have to drill the extra hole in the frame. I am all for not drilling extra holes in the frame. I found it very easy to do.

Car Looks Great. If your are ready for a drive away from home with it you should think about the Skyline Drive event this weekend drive it down and back on Saturday 20 Oct. Lube up all your chassis pivot points to free up any ride harshness. And have a great time in your Smart.
