My baby's makeover is 99% complete, and I have her back:

67560

The center hub cap covers aren't finalized; I may replace them. And the license plate frame is being painted copper. I'll paint the paws black, and then my brother will clear coat it. I also have to put the 'passed by a 3 cylinder' decal on and remove the 'electric drive' plaque.

The only thing that doesn't work is the remote unlock for the back window. The lock/unlock for the doors works fine. My brother is convinced he hooked everything up. I looked at the fuse schematic and didn't see anything likely to impact that. Anybody have any ideas?

Thank you. It means a lot. I like it better than my original idea of copper panels and black cell.

Yes, the rear window opens manually.

One thing that would look good, is painting the black grill, copper color. Black wheel caps, look just fine….

Ooh. Ooh. I have to ask if the paint I bought will work on plastic. Never considered the gas door!

Before the makeover, I always had to hold the hatch release button for at least 5 seconds to activate it. Haven't gone out yet to try holding it longer.

I'll put a white cover on the center hub caps and see what I think.

You're killing me! And possibly my brother. 🤣

I hope I caught him before he cleaned up after painting the license plate frame.

And I'll stick with the black caps, especially since the lugs are black.

…they make white lug covers…
…bulldog adhesion promoter over plastic will make the paint stick…

jetfuel….just saying
I think my brother is intentionally ignoring my question about the gas cover... But passing along the adhesion promoter info to see if I can get a response.

I just think the black on copper for the wheels is better for me.

That smart is just beautiful! I LOVE the copper color!
Thank you. 😊 Even before her wheels were back on, I smiled every time I looked at her.

This is the first truly custom car I've ever had. Now I really can't get away with anything!
