This is only for persons who are familiar with the area.

Today we were driving on ADAMO Drive in Tampa from 301 to the IKEA store.
There is one area where there is a teeth chattering Railroad crossing in both directions. Every time I go over this part it sounds and feels like the suspension bottoms out. My wife usually adds a small scream which doesn't help either. At one such encounter my steering wheel shifted and I had to get an alignment.
Yes, I slow down to about 20-25 MPH, yet I can't really hold up traffic either.
Have other Tampa Bay smart owners experienced this horribly phenomenon?

Ugh... I know EXACTLY what you mean. Been over that crossing several times. The worst part is when you have an SUV or 4x4 barrelling toward your tailgate because they don't need to even touch their brakes at that crossing.

Yes, I know exactly where that is. The crossing on 50th (41) near the UPS store is also horrible. Tampa's roads are in really bad shape, although there is a lot of roadwork being done. I slow down for rail road crossings long before I get there.

I am a bus mechanic so we are supposed to stop for RR crossings anyways. :)
