The EV’s have that instead torque to drift. If you want to really want a off road smart car. You need a lift kit, like this one. That was at the 2010 Nationals.

That's the plan...well...sorta. I'm going to combine the prototype ED suspension with the Daystar kit...and so long as the CVs survive it'll be a truly one of a kind offroad smart.

Honestly, the instant torque isn't why he was able to drift the car. He turned off traction control and the car has worn out tyres from repeated abuse. I've done the same drifting shenanigans in my 2012 before, even getting it on two wheels!
