The passenger side running lights are out so I need to know how to remove them.

On the 451, There is a metal tab that holds the lens assembly in place. You can see and reach it with a long screwdriver from the door opening. Open the door, reach in with the long screwdriver, gently press in the tab and push the lens outward. It should pop out with hour much effort.

Are you talking about the pass or driver door?

I’m talking about the lights on the sides of the car mounted just in front of the doors. They flash I synchronization with the directional signals.

Is it the two grey tabs or the three black tabs?

And if all four aren't working do I have to replace the whole unit or are they all separate bulbs?

My side markers only have 1 bulb each. Can you post a photo of the light you are working on, please?

Darn. I was interpreting the front LED DRL but it wasn't clear from your posts....

EDIT- Probably sold as an entire unit only, unless you're handy with a soldering iron...

If all 4, then probably an electrical, not a bulb issue. Loose wire?

To remove this unit do I have to jack up car , take tire off, take off the plastic inner wheel well and plastic shield under car because I can't figure any other way to do it?

That piece can be pried out without removing anything else. If you have a set of plastic wedges, you should be able to pop it out and see the tabs that hold them in.
