I have a 2008 smart fortwo and wondering if its safe to use a meguiars clay bar and meguiars ultimate compound on all the painted parts of the exterior besides the obvious trims? I know some parts on this car are plastic and i dont wanna use compound and the paint shows up on the towel even though the meguairs ultimate compound says its says on clear coat. By the way i only use meguairs products on all my cars. I was thinking clay,compound,polish,and wax. So let me know guys what safe to use on the exterior paint and what is not

All the panels are clear coated so anything safe for clear coat will work. If you get through the clear coat you're doing it wrong....

I have used claybar on all my smarts. It is a bit of work but the results are nice!!

I used meguiars products on all my vehicles, for years. meguiars Gold Class wax.
For minor surface scratches, Scratch X 2.0
