I am in Jacksonville, about 20 miles from the ocean. I would not know there is a Hurricane just off the coast if I did not turn on the tv. Just a typical late summer afternoon rain shower. I guess it's best to be prepared, but I have lived here since 1966 and the storms get milder and the weather reporting gets wilder.
