I'm now on my 6th smart!

My 5th smart (2014 BoConcept edition) was recently totaled. Thankfully it kept me safe after a lady t-boned into the passenger side of me. Unfortunately the car was totaled.
I searched for another smart 451 and finally found my "new to me" 2012 Smart Passion.
My smart car days started back when I purchased a new 2010 Smart Pure (blue/black). Two years later I upgraded to a 2012 Passion (black/silver), two more years and I upgraded to a 2014 Brabus (white/white), two more years and I bought a 2016 Edition #1 (white/orange). I had a lot of issues with the 2016 model, so I got rid of that and bought my 2014 BoConcept (white/gray). Now I have my 2012 Passion (blue/silver).
I'll admit... I'm obsessed! Pic shows all of the smarts I've had over the years.

I would agree, it was my favorite. I traded that on the 2016 Edition #1. It was a mistake. The edition #1 had a lot of problems. The Brabus and BoConcept are tied for my favorites. I have a lot of plans for the Passion that I just got. New stereo system, wrapped panels, some other things too. It'll be awesome.

Some of us get the Smart bug and keep on buying them. I bought my first one in 2003 when I saw a whole lot of 450 Smart city cars in Switzerland on holiday and thought it was a really funky and fun looking two seater, so bought one when i returned to the UK. I kept on buying till 2019 which was the last of the gas 453's in the UK. Its such a pity I am now finished buying Smart as its went electric (Yuck!). Not sure what the future will be, but will likely buy another petrol car nearing 2029 of another car make, just before the end of all petrol cars in 2030 (UK). Its crazy that green issues has forced us to finish with cars we love.

The older red colored smart cars. The clear coat deteriorated and peeled off.

That applies to the 2009 (and later) lipstick red - the 2008 orangey red is fine.

Red cabrio (Ours will be 15 years old in just over a week!)
I realize your old car's passenger side was hit, but it is nice to read that you were safe and the car body did its job, even if it is so small.

You didn’t keep the roadster, Sad! I wish we got that model here in the states here!
I’ve only seen a couple of them here. One in San Diego, at Beverly Hills vintage cars.
A Really a neat vehicle!
