I often drive with the glass hatch up, just wear earmuffs. :)

Seriously, it is nice to know this sine-wave inverter actually works with the Smarty. My Tesla ModelS for some reason or other cannot accept output from 2200w Honda genset, a larger 'pure sine wave' unit.

This is final decision for more than 70km highway go and back with air-conditioning.

The Amp always not enough. Use 125V if the gen is below 2200w. The ed3 that the best I drive on highway is 12.5hw/100km with air condition. 1600W charging is reasonable not enough on model s.

So there's no plug in at your destination so you can charge while there? (at work?)
Or can you just leave the generator at the destination so you're not hauling it all the time?
