I have a 2008 Fortwo, original owner. It’s been sitting in my garage for a year undriven, battery has been disconnected. Battery is good, starts and goes into gear, But the entire instrument cluster is dark. Any thoughts on a fix?

You might want to make sure that the cluster lights are not dimmed all the way. There is a procedure explained in the owner's manual and how you can control the brightness or dim the cluster lights.

Check the brightness of the cluster lights, check if they turn on if you turn on the lights. If not, check Evilution. I can't find the info myself but you might have better luck.
