Due to the 451 post (Introduction to Service for the Smart electric) being locked out of any replies, I am creating this post.

I was hoping someone might know of a link or pdf of similar information, but for the later 453 (2017-2019 USA) model???

I just came across this thread.
My main interest is Smart electric drive.
Mine is a 2016 purchased new in early 2017.
What is 451 vs 453?
I have now purchased the car from lease.
The battery is still on lease

A 2016 electric should be a 451.

Do you have a lever on the inside of the rear gate to pop open the rear glass? That is a new feature for 453.
