I'm fairly new here (bought my Smart in march.) and would be interested in meeting more smart owners.

I'm in Central Valley area and think it would be fun to meet a group of like minded people to hang out with or cruise around.

The Central-Cal-smarties disbanded about a year ago due to lack of participation and a lack of interest by it's members. The only active group in CA is the So Cal Smarties. You are welcome to join that group. Just go over to: www.meetup.com/socalsmarties. Membership is free & there are monthly events taking place.

Thanks. Kind of counter productive to drive 5 hours each way for a short meet.

Yes, the first group fizzled. I have been thinking about this lately. Perhaps there are enough of us late comers to start an informal club or at least a meetup group.

Let's try to gather together a new group of smart enthusiasts in our area! We could plan a get together, perhaps with a short tour and lunch, advertise it and see who shows up.

We were late to the party, so let's organize our own! We already have 2 interested, that's a start.

I would p/m Johannes in post #9 . When I spoke with him last Sunday during a So Cal Smarties event in Bakersfield, he indicated that the Mid-Cal Smarties group was still active.
