Hi! I have a 2013 Smart fortwo (Pure) on a small island. Consequently, I must do much of the maintenance and repair on it myself. I am thankful that there is a forum like this one! I have been off island for 3 months. When I arrived yesterday, my new battery (installed in December 2018) was dead. After charging it fully, my car still would not start. When I turned the key, it just made a very brief humming noise. I bump started it by going down a small hill. After the car started, the AC would not blow cool air and the radio did not work. After driving it for 40 minutes, I turned it off and once again, it would not start. I checked the fuses...I never found fuse 33 (ignition). Is there a relay switch that could have gone bad? Any suggestions would be appreciated.
