Im having and issue with my ac the fan work and I hear the compressor kick in but I still get hot air I try to re charge the system but is not taking the gas has anyone had this issue before that can help by the way im new to the forum

I got the one of them cans with an adaptor to fill it up I going to take it to a mechanic to get the system check out but I rather try to fix it my self first or at least try to see If

I can fix it

I dont think it has a leak because the gas is not going in at all

I had a problem where the A/C wouldn't kick on unless I hit a certain bump in the car and then it would come on. I assumed loose wiring but it was actually crap built up on the blower motor that I cleared out with a dremel tool. It's hard to know exactly what the issue is, but I'm sharing in case this helps

yeah I saw this vid but this is not the issue im having im still waiting to take the car to the Mecanic since I missed my appointment due to the storm

…right footwell,…there’s a small white plug with blue/pink wires…make sure it’s in and not sideways …big shoes have a detrimental effect in such a small plug…
..you said “ I can hear the compressor kick in”….can you hear it kick out????
…low charge will make it come on for few seconds then goes off….so does too much charge…
