Carbon fiber clear coat or just clear coat. ? And have you had a hydro dipped wheel?

On of the car shows, on Motor Trend TV. They hydro dipped the wheels. Then clear coated them to protect the delicate finish.
I had my plastic dash on my Abarth done, in a carbon fiber texture. With a a couple coats of clear coat.

With salt and road grime, where I live. I really don’t see the texture to last long, on alloy wheels.

Cool, the intent will be for that set of wheels to be my "A List" set. 15 x 6.5 all around with 225/45 rear and 205/50 front tires.
I have a set of Allutec Grip 3 wheels that will be the daily and winter wheels. I also have a set of Rial wheels I want to sell before I get attached to them. So far the car has had 4 sets of wheels, three I still have. I set of Genius Darwins 17 inch were sold.
