I used to own a '74 Fiat X-1/9(sympathy accepted),but I never had an issue with the car not having power steering. All of the weight is at the back and the wheel was faily easy to steer, even in tight slow spaces.

Oh, and by the way, Congradulations on the invite. I wished I had had my reservation in when I test drove the car.
