FOB key remote does not open doors or back window.... could this be fixed by replacing a fuse? I have a 2012 Smart for Two. Also, not sure where the fuse box is located? Any help or advice would be appreciated! Thanks.
If you have the second key does it unlock the car? Are you close enough to the car (distance seems to vary for each car/remote combo)? If the battery in the remote is low, the car's lights will flash nine times to let you know. If all else fails, just try a new battery in the fob. :)

I had the same problem with one of my key fobs.Could start/drive the car,but NOT lock/unlock doors/rear hatch. In
changing the key fob battery, somehow the 2 contacts in the fob got compressed/bent. Bent them back up,so they
make good contact with the battery.Key fob works like new,again................
