Hi!

I have a leak in my back window I believe that is dripping along the side of the window. See photos. Not sure if this is something common that I can fix or need to take in. As you can see, the rusty water runs along the edge of the trunk but doesn’t actually go into the car. It comes through this small hole where the heater(?) is.
Any insight would help!

I think your car may be missing a pair of drain holes added to the 2010 and later models. Without them, water can accumulate inside the hatch and run out when the hatch is opened. See the following thread on this subject:

Maybe you haven't noticed (neither did I until someone pointed it out) that smart has made a running change to the inside cover of the glass hatch - for 2010 models. They've added a drain hole at the bottom of the plastic cover, in the area where the lower end of the support struts are...
