SOLVED: Left Turn Signal / Strange flashing

Yesterday while driving, I noticed the dome light flickering, and fog light toggle light on console flickering, later discovered hyper blinking on left turn signal due to the left front signal being out.

Changing one of the fuses seemed to fix the phantom flickering of the fog light switch, however after checking the rest of the fuses and changing the relay on the back and the turn signal bulb, no luck...

Any suggestions?

It turns out there are 3 relay's located toward the back of the front fuse box, not just the one protruding down the most :-/

NOTE: you may need to borrow a small child to help you with removing the other two, the center one solved my left blinker problem, the right-most effects the right hand side, no idea hat the left-most relay does...

If it helps anyone, I found the relay at my local auto-parts store (O'Reilly's) for about $15

if under warranty, let the dealer figure it out. Sounds like the bad bulb syndrome to me.....

In Florida the turn signal is one of the most under used components of a car.
That is so sad and frustrating and... if you would ever see a cop giving a signal as a good example.....well, miracles do happen.

It is under warranty but there's only one Smart dealership in Oklahoma City and most tech's have a full-time job servicing Benz' =)

So... I HAD to figure this one out, in these here parts the turn signal is def not optional...
