LIFTING A 2013 SMART FORTWO CABRIOLET PASSION

So I am under the impression that if i want to lift my smart car (to add bigger all terrain tires) that I would have to get a new motor? Because wouldn't the 1.5 litre 3 cylinder motor have serious issues with that?

I would like to know:
1. What I'd need to lift it (kit, etc.) & where I can find pricing
2. Am I able to do this work (or any really) myself? Or does it have to be dealership involved?
3. If someone has lifted their smarty, was it worth it and are you happy with it etc.
4. Anything else I should need to think about or know when looking into this?

Sorry guys I am not mechanically inclined. But as long as I can figure out how to actually put it together I should be able to do it.

Dreamcarowner did this and had trouble with premature CV boot failures. Not sure if he's come up with a solution yet as it's been a while since he installed the Daystar Lift Kit.

Also, you don't have a 1.5 litre engine. It is 999cc or just under I litre.

As I said before I have no idea with this car. Which is one reason why it's for sale. I can do hondas and fords. This is a foreign language for me.
