So I am under the impression that if i want to lift my smart car (to add bigger all terrain tires) that I would have to get a new motor? Because wouldn't the 1.5 litre 3 cylinder motor have serious issues with that?

I would like to know:
1. What I'd need to lift it (kit, etc.) & where I can find pricing
2. Am I able to do this work (or any really) myself? Or does it have to be dealership involved?
3. If someone has lifted their smarty, was it worth it and are you happy with it etc.
4. Anything else I should need to think about or know when looking into this?

Sorry guys I am not mechanically inclined. But as long as I can figure out how to actually put it together I should be able to do it.
