little details

i purchased a micro brush and painted the marks on the paddle with white paint then i painted the grooves or notches in the bezel around the ignition switch.

It would be nice if the factory lighted a ring up around the key switch when you get in the car at night

On my aftermarket paddle shifters, I used a fine point Sharpie to blacken the "+" and "-" to add a little detail.

They were made by Boeschebuilt and sold directly from his shop. I do not remember Smart Madness ever having them for sale. They were $150.00 and then a rebate of $55.00 when you returned your stock paddle shifters. I elected to keep my originals.

He also made armrests, and inside rearview mirrors for the smart. As far as I know, he has stopped making any accessories for smart cars.

I have found some Chinese made paddle shifters on E Bay that stick on the backside of the stock smart paddles. They come in a variety of colors, are made of plastic, and are under $30.00 if I remember correctly.

I have talked to Matt Boesche on the phone a few times. I have his paddles and armrest, but would like to get the inside mirror. He does not have any left and has no plans to make more. He suggested to try E Bay and see if anyone may have one for sale. I have been looking for three years with no luck.
