Anyone using a longer oil filter in their Smart?

Same thread and gasket, may vary in can size...
For 20 x 1.5mm threads, 14 psi by-pass valve, anti-drain back valve, 2.3" O.D.

about 2.5 inches long.

Been using the Mobil 1 for years. Its a little longer.

This is the one I use ~ It is a little longer, but does not sit lower than the oil pan ~ I spray it flat black, as the filters on Smart can be seen from the rear ~ I change oil & filter every 5,000.

Be careful, the longer the oil filter the higher chance it could be damaged by road debris. I use the mobil 1 and several others have had them with no problems.
