Hi all, I am working on a commercial being shot in SC. We are shooting in Beaufort, Columbia and Greenville. We are looking for a Smart Car that we could rent or borrow for a short time period (2 or 3 hours at most) during the week of October 21st (it would be on the 21st, 22nd or 23rd depending on the location of the car). If you are interested let me know!

Wow, wish I lived closer... would like to see a smart on the tv.
If you ever decide to do some work in the Sarasota Bradenton area of FL, be sure to give me a shout!
Well I've got two Smart electrics and basically am on the NC/SC border.

Thanks! Would you be willing to drive to Greenville SC? If so would you mind sending a few pictures of your cars?
Me too! Thanks for the reply.
Sally - please send me a private message with your e-mail and we can continue our exchange that way.

Ms. Rowe, How is the smart car going to be depicted in the commercial? Is it going to be depicted in an unflattering way to sell SUV's or something?
Hi Yinzer,

We are not going to use it in an unflattering way. The commercial is for the South Carolina Educational Lottery and we are hoping we can establish a Smart Car as the main character's vehicle. It's going to cute and funny. I cannot reveal anything else though! If you are interested please private message me.

Thanks!

We will be back in Hilton Head on October 21 with our white cabrio if you are still in need
Verify the organization's insurance will adequately cover any loss or damage to the lent vehicle.
Good point and I would take it even further and make sure yours does. Of which if you really like your Smart they can no longer be replaced cause there ain't none to replace it with.
And we haven't even gotten to that sticky point of who is responsible if somebody gets hurt.
As an Insurance Agent with 41 years under my belt: I couldn't agree more!
We had a film company up in our neck of the woods last year, and they rented a commercial building, and about 20 antique cars...
Their cameras' lithium battery packs overheated while recharging, and it was a complete and total loss...

This one will take years to settle!
