In desperate need of a wheel that will fit and have searched high and low and cannot find one. original is the 12 spoke grooved one but I’ll use anything that will fit. Would a Brabus wheel work? Thanks everyone!

You could use Brabus wheels, you would need all 4 of them to match. Smart madness has one. Contact them. Which wheel front or the rear?

Thank you- I need a front wheel and smart madness doesn’t have one in stock- was hoping I could use the Brabus replacement- even though it’s not an exact match in looks- it appears to be the right size

You can use any smart car front wheel, if you don’t care about the look. I would keep all the wheels the same size, and style. I think the front Brabus wheel is a different size. A 16”. Your running 15” wheels.

The US spec Brabus front wheel is 15x5.5 The Euro spec Brabus front wheel is 16x5.5 I can say this with certainty because I have two US spec Brabus wheels in my garage.

Wow, I was surprised to see the prices for used Smart Car wheels on eBay were so high - I think $250 for a wheel is outrageous.

Your might want to check out www.car-part.com. It's a searchable website that lists the inventory of thousands of wrecking yards that can then be sorted by distance. I'm betting there's a good chance there's a wrecking yard nearby that will have a wheel that will fit your needs for far less than $250. Remember when you're searching that even though your car is a 2013 you should select the 2008 - 2015 range since they'd likely be interchangeable.

Good luck with your search and whatever happened to your old wheel, don't feel too bad. I've seen a number of Smart Cars with bent alloy wheels - more so than the average car it seemed.

Thanks so much to you and others for the thoughtful and considerate responses. I couldn’t find one at local salvage places and even after a lead to a salvage in Texas, turns out they wouldn’t ship to NC. However, I will keep on eye on this www.car-part.com.

Sometimes with Car-Part.com I find what I'm looking for when I search for some generic item just so I get an idea of what wrecking yards near me actually have Smart Cars in inventory.

As an example, if you were to search for a front fender you'd likely find every wrecking yard near you that has a Smart Car in inventory - then you could look at the listings that have pictures to see if there's a car that might be a good donor for your wheel search. The thought process is that the lower end wrecking yards are unlikely to go through the work to add the level of detail where they describe what type of wheels are on the car.
