We had a major ice storm here in mid North Carolina. Sort of local, Greensboro, Burlington, and surrounding areas. .50 inch of ice on surfaces. You can imagine the power outages and trees falling on cars and houses. We woke up at 4:30 this moring to the sound of multiple power transformers exploding along with the purple flashes. Smarts came through it ok. We took the newest smart out today to grocery store and found that there was only one way out of the suburbs where we live. Fallen trees blocking all other streets. And that's a LOT of streets.

Having been through ice storms in Oklahoma I can picture what the streets looked like. It's good to know that your smart's were missed by the falling limbs. Stay safe.
