Ok if anyone checks out my prior posts it’s not a secret that I have no love for the 453. In fact not much for smart since they dropped out of the ice business in the US. However, I have always loved my 08 cabrio, Max. I was going to drive the wheels off him. Then I realized that since I’m 68 with a less than good heart, health wise that is, I would still probably out live him. So I thought I would start a search for a low mileage 14 or 15 to replace him with. Well my search ended with a purchase of a 14 BoConcept Cabrio with 7K miles on the clock and a few year left on the warranty today. So now I need to find a nice home for my elder smart (72K) to make room for Max the second.

I’ll post in the forsale section once I get Max detailed and ready for a new home. And will post pics of Max the Second once he arrives here in FL sometime next week.

Here’s a link to the one I just purchased if interested:https://mercedes.benzelbusch.com/used/smart/2014-smart-fortwo-40b692290a0e0ae828480609a2af06e0.htm

Let the good times roll.:D

Those BoConcept cars are absolutely gorgeous!!! Great pick Downeastter! :D

I'm also giggling at the fact that Max the 1st is twice as old as Tucker but has half the miles.

Yes I think there is a great deal of life left in Max the 1st. But, my wife and I just couldn't pass up the BoConcept. Max has served us well for the past 9.5 years. The thing is he wasn't delivered until after we retired so he never got involved with the daily run to the office deal. He spend most of his time we us heading to a trail head with the bikes on back or a water area towing the kayaks.

Congrats! I always wanted a BoConcept more than any other smart model. I had even thought it’d be great to graft the Bo’s sublime interior and assorted themed external doodads onto a standard 451 ED.

Good for you, Mr. Lucky!! And it’s a Cabrio, even... wow.

(P.S. It’s so gorgeous that it almost hurts my eyes. Want. Want. Want.)

I have my old Maine Chickadee plate "FORTWO" that I used on the front of Max the 1st. Then of course I'll have the wonderful Save the Manatee plate for the rear.
Since Max the 1st is a neutral colour you could also do what I did and hide the holes from the bracket. :)

Now the real problems begin... do my wife and I take the smart or the new Audi TT roadster to the bike trail!
