Purchased in Cali and shipped to Ohio. UPS unfortunately lost the package that contained the original title from the dealer.

Have an Android head unit and the Metra faceplate and cables on the way. Also have a Zencar Level 2 charger on the way. Also have a Konnwei OBD Bluetooth dongle on the way to see if it will show any live battery data in Torque. Otherwise I'll try to build the Odyssey monitor.

Haven't had an electric since a CommutaCar in 2004. What a difference 35 years makes :)

Excited to get my EV smile back

That unit is based off another hackster project from the same guy I'm looking at. This is the one http://hackster.io/MyLab-odyssey/edm-ble-monitor-your-ev-7bd027 I'll do, as it's meant more real time, always hooked to the obd port whereas the other isn't.

Welcome to SCoA! Always good to have another Ohio owner here. :)

Not sure where you are, but if range permits you can join us the weekend of 6-8 April for the Ohio April Fools X Can-Am smart rally in the Dayton area.

Thanks. I already looked. It's 91 miles over to Dayton from the 'Bus and couldn't make it without some 240v stop on the way.

Congrats on Snowball. Hope he/she meets with your needs. You might want to get the SCOSCHE ST2431B 2011-Up Smart Fortwo Double DIN or DIN w/pocket Install Dash Kit from Amazon. Instead of using the Metra one as it is just flat black finish where the Scosche one matches the rest of the interior plastics with a pebble finish. https://www.amazon.com/SCOSCHE-ST24...id=1522255462&sr=8-1&keywords=SCOSCHE+ST2431B

Yeah I knew the difference. I felt I read enough ppl were using metra that maybe it's not *that* bad? I'll see

Thanks!

"She" should be fine for my needs :) 19.6mi round trip to my employer

Yup. I've got ChargePoint PlugShare and NEXTCHARGE apps on my phone. There is a way to get there by and still charge but it would be quite a long day. :)

Do you have this scosche piece? The Metra does not measure standard double din so my Hu doesn't fit. Metra is 6 13/16 inches ddin standard says 180mm = just over 7 inches. I'm not happy. Can't get an answer on the amazon page "questions" section regarding the scosche size. Looking to get the opening size, maybe you can help?

Thanks
Bobby

Nobody from the company or the amazon page still gave me exact dimensions. If you're home I'd appreciate getting the exact opening from you

Thanks
Bobby

Okay thanks, well that stinks. It's about the same size which is smaller than standard double din 180mmx100mm :(
