The following is a Mitsubishi press release. It doesn't correspond with the info I found on the web about the engine being built in France, but the pr is almost two years old now. Things could have changed.

Fishrdnc: That 3B21 looks like the thing. I remember the configuration I observed thru the acrylic panel in the static model at the Smart Tour in Phila. Nice to know. I wish I could have had a better look at the engine. Thanks for the PDF that was excellent. :cool:
