It looks like you have to have the oil change done by a servicing agency to qualify for the rebate. I do all my own work, so I may not qualify for the rebate. Also, it's for an e-card from Starbucks or Amazon. What ever happened to old fashioned rebate checks?

There are three different flavors of the rebate. The $12 one is for the DIY'er. Buy it at Walmart and get the rebate. They did used to send a real check, but I guess the e-gift card is easier and cheaper. Everyone buys something at some time or other from Amazon, don't they? :)

Just got my rebate check from Walmart purchase of Mobil 1 oil. I did one last time. I printed it, signed the back like a normal check. I then used the Citibank App and deposited it all without stepping foot in a local branch. There is an option for snail mail I believe.
