@ E SMART:

Oops, sorry - I've chosen 'smart Delivery' in April 2012 starting this Thread. So if it's wrong now, we have to change/merge it.

Are you certain that's true?

Stuttgart, San Diego and Amsterdam are all electric and they currently have a minimum of 950 units. Adding in Portland, Vancouver, Ulm and Austin, which are mixed fleets, you could pretty quickly exceed total sales for 2013+2014

Great point!

car2go gets San Diego going: . . . with 300 all-electric vehicles . . .

https://www.car2go.com/en/sandiego/

As of December 2012, Portland offered 310 two-seater smart cars. (The total included 30 electric models)

http://portlandafoot.org/w/Car2go

As of April 2013, 11% of the 400 smart car2go fleet in Vancouver was electric.

This pie chart tells the BIG PICTURE - smart is 4th among 9 manufacturers with only 122 units and 3.67% of the ALL-ELECTRIC pie . . .
February 2014 All-Electric Car Sales Numbers

Be interesting to see how this graphic changes with the 50-state roll out?

Blaine. The problem with all the Smart stats is they do not break out their sales beyond the totals. We can only guess how many/few they are really selling to the public based the growth of Cars2Go. A2Jack

186 Smart Electric Drives sold in US in March 2014.

and a chart to accompany it :D

pretty good, i expect sales to hit the 200 mark for april... wonder how many have been sold in the first 3 days of April?

edit: also noticed its number 8 out of all 16 cars and the nationwide rollout just started... and next month its surely to reach number 7... unless the i3 sells 500+ which it probably will

thats pretty darn good for a small 2 seater with "small cargo room" as everyone says. Clearly thats not a problem for everyone thats got one :)
