A B-service (typically at even numbered mileages like 20k, 40k, 60k etc) usually involves more parts and labor. I don't think smart officially calls it that but I've seen it used in European smart communities. Just know that a double wrench service is more involved. lol
For example, the 20k service has a brake fluid flush, 40k is coolant and brake fluid, 60k is valve check and adjust and brake fluid...
When I bought my 2012 brand new I had the dealership do the 10k. It was $130. When the 20k came around the dealership quoted me $450. I laughed and decided to start doing my own maintenance.
For giggles, I asked the dealership what would the 60k service cost. $600 for the valve check alone and a grand total of $1,050.
