I installed a compact air horn this past week that I bought off of eBay a few months back. It was labeled the "Ultimate Blast Horn" but was really a repackaged Stebel Nautilus air horn. . . aka WOLO Bad Boy, too.
I looked again this morning just for grins :D and behold there are two of them for sale for the asking price of $23.99 + $7 shipping~! That is $10 or more off the asking prices usually charged for the Nautilus . . . If you're interested go HERE:
Ultimate BLAST Compact Twin Air Horns NEW Air Horn:eBay Motors (item 200355114251 end time Jul-21-09 09:08:40 PDT)

Guy has two of them available.
Or searching eBay using "Ultimate Blast Horn" will show a couple of others.

Search the internet for the "wolo bad boy" or "compact nautilus air horn" and you'll find pages with audio samples.

What does it sound like, do you have a sample?
Imagine a Smart horn, only a lot louder. :p

I had one (actually still have but its INOP). Seems I loved driving down the road honking my horn so much for no apparent reason except to listen to the loud sound of it was too much and I blew it out. Now I need to replace.

They are worth the buy.

The two big differences between the "excuse me" horn that comes with the smart, and the compact air horns:
1. The compact air horns have two tones - the smart default is a single tone (important for getting the attention of people that have reduced hearing on one tone or another)
2. The compact air horn is about twice as loud.

Two tone horns have added benefit less from the frequency difference in hearing sensitivity, more from beat frequencies generated by the two tones, upping the intensity a few dB and drawing attention through the modulation.

I believe there's a size difference in the trumpet between the compact air horn and the ultracompact air horn. I installed the compact Stebel and had to cut a little bit out of the wheel well liner to get it to fit. No biggie, but it's something to think about.

Pull the front end off and mount it in front of the bracket, not behind. Tight fit, but it'll go and be vertical, too. I tried thru the fender well and spent a few frustrating hours trying to make it fit vertically. Pulling the front off is easy and takes less time (less painful, too) :D then fighting the fender liner. Go to evilution.co.uk for instructions.
See my write up under 'modifications' 'exterior' & "sticky tab" for new horn for the method I used to mount.

Well, should I get this one or get the Groits one then? Im worried about quality and if it will fit. I know the ultra-compact one will fit and I hear it is a good brand. Help me out here!

Not to worry, Jedi - once you open the package it will say "Stebel Nautilus" right on the horn. The WOLO Bad Boy is also a Stebel that has been rebadged. I personally was surprised to find this out, but I guess Stebel makes a LOT of horns and wholesales them to other vendors.
GO for it~! Great price, too - less than I paid for mine in May. :D

You can't go wrong with the Wolo Bad Boy
UNLESS you do like I did. I really loved just driving down the road making all types of noise just honking that bad boy. :p Finally it just blew out. I need to replace it....one more thing on my list.:(

To answer your question with something you may have heard before :p....."I know the ultra-compact one will fit and I hear it is a good brand."

It is the ultra compact one. Stebel Nautilus - Wolo Bad Boy - and a few other companies....all those are the same ultra-compact horn and start life as a Stebel Nautilus.

It just looked bigger than the ultra compact one from Italy.
