Bone stock with 44K on the clock needs new tires want to upgrade rims at same time. Would like to go with black rims 16 or 17". Any ideas

If you want a decent ride quality, i'd stay away from 17" wheels. Leaves you with little room available for rubber on the tires.

Yeah I hear you but not really concerned about ride I drive a Jeep and a motorcycle

I used to drive a Jeep Wrangler as well. But it's still utterly punishing. Remember... while Jeep's are known for bumpy ride quality (at least Wrangler's anyway)... they DO have a significantly longer wheelbase than the ForTwo.

That, and potholes can be a b*tch on low profile tires, too.
