I purchased a brand new Area 451 cruise control for my 2008 smart passion back in November, 2013 when they went on final sale at the clearance price of $285. My husband then became gravely ill, I became busy with him, and I never opened the box the CC arrived in. I now have a buyer for my smart car who doesn't need the CC, so I am selling it at cost ($285) plus $5 to help offset shipping. I will mail the CC anywhere within the contiguous 48 states.
I have a PayPal account which is my preferred method of payment.

jwight... How difficult is the install on this? I'd love to put it on my 09, but It'd have to be DIY. I'm 3 hours from the nearest smartcenter.

Before I reply - please be aware that I JUST SOLD THE CRUISE CONTROL today Feb 9th, 2014.
I hear it isn't terribly difficult and that most owners do the install themselves, but I was planning to have a Mercedes mechanic install it as I don't consider myself very mechanically proficient. There is a video online via smartieparts that shows every step for installation.
