If you have a 451, you will want to remove the front clip (fenders and front part) to get to the screws easier. t is a bit of a project the first time, but it gets easier after that. The inside light unit is not replaceable and is set to go straight down the road so you don't want to mess with it. replacing the whole unit is the way to go. Been there...
Spent a couple of hours removing the front clip, took the headlight assembly apart and was able to epoxy the broken headlamp bracket. Saved $200 for a new assembly and $110 labor at the dealership!
Congrats you are now an expert! only a few of us brave enough to pull the front clip. Just think how much quicker it will go next time! I hope the repair job does the trick. I couldn't get mine to stay so I ended up replacing it. Darn Deer!!
