New "rubbery squeak" at right-rear
The model is a 2014 ED Cabrio.
A very audible rubbery squeaking noise has recently started occurring whenever there's the tiniest amount of unevenness in a road surface.
• I've checked to be sure that the top was properly latched and that the doors and lower hatch were closed tightly.
• Weatherstrips are in-place and supple.
•. The noise is unaffected by whether the top is up or down.
•. I haven't checked the shocks for leakage, but the rubbery squeakiness doesn't seem like a faulty shock.
Has anyone else had a prior similar noise issue, and could offer some at-home suggestions? Unless it's a simple fix, I'll need to head to the dealer
Thanks, guys.
