Hi, I'm new to this forum. I'm the original owner of a 2016 smart passion coupe and am waiting for the two year standard service to be completed. My car has 27000 miles on it and the original tires. I'm being told the tire tread is gone and I need to replace all four tires. What's the normal life in miles for a smart driven around the suburbs? Lots of stop and go and turns. Thanks for your help.

I had to replace the rears on mine at 16K miles. Might have been able to squeeze another thousand or two out of them, but they were close to the tread wear indicator. Your ties will have the tread wear indicator too and if the tire is worn down to it, then it's replacement time.

On my 2016 453 I have a bit short of 28k on the original rear Continental tires. Not yet down to the wear bars but will be soon. Returned my leased 451 with 30k and the tires were about ready for replacement. Maintain factory spec air pressure.

I put a set of Uniroyal ? ? on the front and back on Minimus Prime before I got deployed. 175\65-15 on the front and 195\60-15 with no problems. I live in Sconnie so 80# of salt forces the tires into submission and grab on in heavy deep snow. Hope this helps and welcome aboard!
