Hello from New Mexico 
14 months ago I bought a 2013 passion, completely stock, with 36,000 miles. No problems so far.
The only mod I've done is to change out the stock intake for this one. That was done about a month ago.
It's a great little car and perfect for my needs. I mostly use it for commuting, but I have taken it on two 600 mile road trips with no issues.
