I have been pondering upgrading my front motor mount but have heard the semi solid types are too stiff and can be a a bit harsh so I have not gone that route.

I did see a nice mount by Smartfyou racing in England but it is a bit pricey. I stumbled upon this option made by Power Flex. It is a high quality Urethane insert for the stock mount.

I like this solution because it stiffens up the stock mount with out being overly harsh and stiff. I just installed it and it was a snap to put in. Drives great with hardly any noticeable vibration or hard shifting. It is just a nice tight feel.

Car shifts tighter and it seems to be more planted. Overall very happy with these.

They came from England and shipping was a bit expensive but I ordered a couple sets and a clutch alignment tool that was a fraction of the cost of the same tool here in the USA so it was worth it.

Thanks for the information about the motor mounts. I have poured my own MB mounts using a mold and a Shore Duromer "A" chart. Level 45 seems to work well.

Can you tell me more about the clutch tool?:nerd:
