I have a ‘08 Smart that we had to do an engine swap on and now I can’t get it started. I can hear the actuator move in the starter but won’t crank. Ground wires seem to be in place, replaced the starter, replaced the 200a fuse, I had key in first position, brake to the floor and moved through the gears trick, checked and verified that the starter fuse is indeed good. Battery was dead, however I had another car providing it juice using jumper cables. Kind of stumped as to why it won’t start. Any help will be appreciated.
