5 speed foot clutch in a 6 speed DCT world prove your preferences are obsolete. :nerd:
DCT's are coming on 6, 7, 8, 9 and likely more speeds in the near future.

I have to tell you that even though I love my smart cab. I have owned sports cars since the my 56 MGA to my current Audi TT 3.2 V6 roadster.... but smart hasn't made a sports car in a long.........time. Just enjoy your car.

If by sports car you mean a large displacement gas hogging engine, sure, but if you mean sporty nature in spite of tiny displacement and fuel sipping, I'd take any smart with the BRABUS sports package. They're very sporty IMO... :nerd:

Is yours a Pure? I'm sorry.
Actually, my '09 Pure had quicker acceleration than my '09 BRABUS, and also had a little more oomph at the higher speeds too. The reason why was the smaller wheels.
However, the '09 BRABUS had an INCREDIBLE suspension when it was new. Simply incredible. (When it was NEW).

My first was a 08 Passion Cab put the $99 down and waited for 1.5 years. Last year I sold that one and purchased my current Bo Concept Cab. But your right I would really call my TT a sports cars eight just more so than my smart. Oh I wish I hadn't sold my MGA 1500

First consideration. Tell me what a non working turbo would initially mean. Would it run and drive just with out boost of turbo. What would turbo repair be like. Because it may need to be replaced is there and upgraded turbo.
its in my stated price range and is where I purchased mine from so I will try to see it next week. But any one looking, this may be a easy way into a 453. I would just Black out the roof beam in the area that would be removed if it was a cabrio and have that look all the time.

Wow, not good to hear of a turbo going so soon! Less than 10k 453s in the U.S. Not certain if a used turbo would be available but worth checking. Can’t help as to whether or not engine would still run just not boosted. Wonder if that would trigger limp home mode?

Turbos seem reasonable in price if they are easy to remove and bolt on.

One would almost need to know why the turbo failed. Yes I believe it will throw a code. Is it still under warranty? Seems like if it was the car lot would have gotten it fixed maybe. Maybe the warranty is to the original owner, I don't know if it is transferrable to the new owner. Alibaba carries a variety of turbos but probably not anything close to the original. DCO
