I'm not sure what you mean by "easily found."

This is the Smart 451

Trip Computer (C18).

It came with the Cruise Control Package (P21), which also includes the

3 spoke leather steering wheel with cruse control (I47)
Cruise control package code (P21)
Cruise control (V27)

and cost me $280 as an added package on my 2013 Smart.

I don't recall if it was available independently of the package.

I'm reading from my own order a long time ago. I'm sure others here can better explain what all this means. I hope this helps a little.

Do you mind giving the part number of the cluster? You simply have to pull on it and it will "un-clip" from the dashboard

It was "either or" on the later 451 fortwo - either cruise control or paddle shifters. Can't have both. I suspect it's more than just changing the cluster, especially if you have a paddle shifter car. Would probably mean some serious ECU issues as well. :)

I think you are saying that I can remove a part to find the part number. Perhaps others on the forum with more comfort working with their car can help you to get this part number.

I am sorry I cannot help. The car is a lease and will be returned to pick up my new 2017 cabriolet this week. At this time, given that I don't own the car, have no mechanical skills, and don't wish to risk damage just before returning it, I am uncomfortable removing the part. (jwight is, as always, correct. The car has no paddle shifters because I chose these features.)
