Drat that press day! I have to wait until Friday to get in. But lots of coverage of the show at the latimes.com website http://www.latimes.com/classified/a...6238.storygallery?coll=la-autoshows-headlines No smarts yet, perhaps in tomorrows paper.

Note in the below pictures. North American spec smarts! How can you tell? Look for dual rear white reverse lights and the amber tint in the headlights.

Yeah there are three North American Spec cars and one Euro at the moment.. might be switched out with the Safety cage before the show opens.

I could see them using the same display in Chicago (on the lake front at McCormick Place) ... but that won't happen until around St. V's day in February, hopefully I'll have my very own before then !!! The pure on display has my color combo (silver/black trid) so it was great to see

pure smarts only come with steel roofs. The silver one looks like theres light coming through the plastic top, or it could be just a reflection off the window? I'll double check for you tomorrow when the public gets in.

usa pure comes with black solid (plastic type? for less weight at top line of car) non-see-thru roof,

usa pure clear see-thru polycarbonate roof optional ($350 ?).

usa pure doesn't offer convertible option.

Yes, pure roof is black plastic (opaque), passion roof is polycarbonate (transparent). Polycarbonate roof is an option on the pure.
