Does an OIL FILTER COOLER/HEAT SINK work on a 451 smart? On the eviloution site it shows being cut away to accommodate the driveshaft boot. It doesn't look to me like on the passion that that would be necessary. In any case I know ahhh.."physics works" but would it work well enough to be worth the while? The sinks are quite easily available on ebay. Thanks in advance

ahhh...no. I see that by smart evolution that cooler oil extends engine life on average. I was wonder if it was workth it.

thinking of doing oil cooler system, i drive every day in FLORIDUHH average temperature 91 not counting road heat,sun,UVs,warm air and humidity makes it feel like 100ish. plus

When Barney is talking about a hot climate I believe he would be referring to temperatures exceeding 110° everyday.

Also remember, heat index or the feels like temperature is calculated for humans and has no effect on machines/cars. Just look at the temperature.
