Ultra gauge works great and mounts with Velcro on dash drawer. The most important parameter to watch (and add the audible alarm) is the coolant temperature. Overheating the engine for a long period of time sometimes results in throwing away the engine.....

In my opinion the most important gauge to watch and set an alarm for is the voltage.
If the voltage drops and stays it could mean a couple things, but number 1 is the fan belt could have broken.
If the belt has broken the water pump quits and engine over heats.
The voltage will drop instantly if the belt breaks. Coolant temp takes a bit longer.
Kinda like the old air cooled VW's, if the alternator light came on it's not generating OR the fan belt has broken.
